It’s here already, New Year’s Eve! Can you believe it?! It feels like only yesterday we were celebrating “Y2K” and 1999, by Prince, was being played everywhere. The computers never crashed as we transitioned into 2000…and, in just a few short hours the calendar will forever change to 2015. Yes, 2015!!
The previous 15 years have brought about a lot of change in the United States. The economy and housing market took a hit in 2008, but we’re tough and resilient and we have climbed back with deeper awareness. 2014 was a great year for the Barry Berg Group and we’d like to share a few of our top memories:
“We scheduled a photo shoot on the closing night of the Minneapolis Aquatennial to capture the fireworks from the perspective of our Phoenix penthouse listing. That same evening, a storm system passed to the northeast. Having 360 views, we enjoyed Mother Nature’s light show on one side of the patio, a glorious sunset and spectacular fireworks against the back drop of the beautiful Minneapolis skyline on the other. A fabulous bird’s eye perspective of fireworks!” – Cat Yahrmatter
“I had a memorable experience…a client jumped in with both feet and followed all of our recommendations to get their home ready for market. Clients can sometimes be reluctant to give up the reigns, but the proof is in the pudding. The house was sold within a month and they were soon thereafter resting comfortably in their new home, which we also helped them find.” – Chad Larsen
“Sometimes you get the call where the client’s needs rise above real estate sales. Never have we been more proud of our entire team for pitching in. Together, we worked alongside the home owner and outside services in what seemed to be an overwhelming task for all involved. In 60 days the home was sold and they were in their new home, to great relief.” -Barry Berg
Looking forward to 2015, we couldn’t be more excited. For starters, we’ve grown! Our team has nearly doubled, from 6 to 10 team members at the end of 2014! Why? What do we have in store?! For starters, we have more team support with experienced realtors that can serve a broad range of property values. We have more transaction support to help get the listing and sale documentation through the process in a streamlined fashion that’s quick, fast and efficient. Lastly, we’ve expanded our marketing efforts with a new social media manager. We felt a bit like we’d been operating like it was 1999, with very little social media presence. Now, we’re social.
