A Steadfast Partnership

When Hunt Greene and Jane Piccard arrived in Minnesota in 1976, Barry guided them through purchasing their first home. A decade later, they sought Barry's expertise to sell their first house and transition to the Lake Minnetonka property they would call home for nearly four decades. As they contemplated their next move in the fall of 2023, Hunt and Jane instinctively turned to their longtime real estate team again.

“Chad and I always say that our business is about relationships,” says Barry. “Not only do we help clients with real estate transitions as they move through various life stages, but we cultivate lifelong relationships rooted in trust,” says Barry.

Be Ready When the Right Opportunity Comes Along

“Sometimes you choose the timeline, but sometimes the timeline chooses you,” says Chad. “That’s one of the many reasons staying in touch is helpful, even if you’re not planning to move anytime soon. You just never know when the right opportunity will pop up.”

This was undoubtedly the case for Jeff, a recent Berg Larsen Group client. 

Jeff and his family were happy in their Edina home when Chad approached them with an unexpected opportunity - an interested party who wanted to make an offer on their home. Jeff and his wife had talked to Chad about wanting to “right-size” when the kids left for college, but they had no immediate plans. However, when Chad came along with this buyer, Jeff trusted his judgment and considered it. 

Ultimately, this facilitated a smooth transition for Jeff’s family, and he reflects that “It was the right thing at the right time, and it was seamless on both the sell and the buy side.”
