As we navigate through different life stages, where we call home often changes. For Rania and her husband, the desire to live closer to their grandkids led them from Kansas City to Minneapolis.

When they spotted Chad Larsen’s name on a listing for a home they were interested in, they reached out - setting in motion a series of serendipitous events.

“During our initial conversation, he asked us some questions about what we were looking for and explained the process of having a buyer's agent,” says Rania. “We were particularly interested in the Mill District, but we were still going back and forth on whether we wanted a house or a condo. So, we decided to tour the house with Chad and go from there.”

During the tour, Rania and her husband asked Chad about the district.

“It turns out that’s where he lives,” says Rania. “It was apparent he has a deep knowledge of the area - he knows every single building.”

Encouraging them to explore their interest, Chad scheduled showings for properties that matched their criteria.

“That exploration helped us say yes, we want a condo and yes, we want to be in the Mill District,” Rania recalls.

Chad’s expertise proved invaluable as they toured properties. Rania explains, “Chad has a design sense both in his educational background and his independent interests. He knows about buildings in terms of their mechanics and architecture. When we discussed the work we would want to do in any particular unit, Chad detailed which projects may be more demanding and why that’s the case.”

While they narrowed their search, they had yet to find the right home. Then, just as they were preparing to return to Kansas City, Chad called about an exciting opportunity: a stunning condo in the Mill District that hadn’t hit the market yet.

Trusting Chad’s judgment, they extended their trip. The moment they stepped inside, they knew it was the one and submitted an offer right away.

What stood out to Rania wasn’t just Chad’s deep knowledge and ability to identify the perfect opportunity, but his unwavering commitment to a seamless process.

"Chad was really quick to communicate and keep things moving forward," she noted. “We were never left wondering what the status of something was.”

From offer to closing, Chad ensured efficiency, coordinated with the seller’s agent, and kept the couple informed. He went above and beyond to help them settle in even after the purchase.

“After we moved in, there were a few things that surfaced within the condo such as the garbage disposal and the heating upstairs,” Rania explains. “Chad came over to figure out what was going on. He didn’t need to do that, but he wanted to do whatever he could to make our transition seamless.”
