While we have been fortunate thus far that there have been limited diagnoses of contagion in the Twin Cities, it seems inevitable that there will be more before the threat subsides.

Beyond keeping a home picked up for showings, it’s important to factor in how pets will affect showings, how to prepare a pet-friendly house and how to make sure pets stay happy and safe during the home showing process.

It is always easiest for pets to be removed from a home for showings. I’ve witnessed a Dr. Doolittle-type home clearing prior to a showing where sellers filled a van with family pets. An Update From Nanci Anderson on Frontotemporal Degernaration

It was the fall of 2018 when we introduce many of you to the disease Frontotemporal Degeneration (FTD).  Last fall, the Berg Larsen Group chose The Association of Frontotemporal Degeneration as their charity in support of my husband, Gary, who was stricken with this disease in 2016. Over those two autumn months, the Berg Larsen Group raised an incredible $1,700 for the organization. Since the fall campaign, my family and I have continued to fight the fight against FTD by sponsoring fundraisers  - Food for Thought and participating in regional dementia conference – The Meeting of the Minds in March 2019.  Our family is blessed to have a circle of amazing friends, colleagues and family walking this journey…

Youth Frontiers Spring Campaign

Every Spring, the Berg Larsen Group works with an organization that is close to a team member and helps raise awareness and proceeds for them. This April and May, we will be donating $100 to Youth Frontiers with every new listing we put on the Twin Cities real estate market. Our team member, Kate Wall, was introduced to the organization four years ago from a client, Patty Beadle, board and staff member for Youth Frontiers.
