Selling a house that your fluffy, furry, finned or feathered friends call home is no easy feat. Let buyers know if there…

- Gary and Nanci Anderson with their Family -

It was the fall of 2018 when we introduce many of you to the disease Frontotemporal Degeneration (FTD).  Last fall, the Berg Larsen Group chose The Association of Frontotemporal Degeneration as their charity in support of my husband, Gary, who was stricken with this disease in 2016. Over those two autumn months, the Berg Larsen Group raised an incredible $1,700 for the organization. Since the fall campaign, my family and I have continued to fight the fight against FTD by sponsoring fundraisers  - Food for Thought and participating in regional dementia conference – The Meeting of the Minds in March 2019.  Our family is blessed to have a circle of amazing friends, colleagues and family walking this journey…

Every Spring, the Berg Larsen Group works with an organization that is close to a team member and helps raise awareness and proceeds for them. This April and May, we will be donating $100 to Youth Frontiers with every new listing we put on the Twin Cities real estate market. Our team member, Kate Wall, was introduced to the organization four years ago from a client, Patty Beadle, board and staff member for Youth Frontiers. Having first been invited to an ethical leadership luncheon, Kate loved what she learned about the organization and was soon invited to be on the organizing committee for the ethical leadership lunch, an annual fundraiser.

"Youth Frontiers’ Mission is to provide schools with experiences that inspire character, civility, and…

Two years ago, Gary Anderson, a colleague of ours in the Coldwell Banker Burnet Minneapolis Lakes office, was diagnosed with Frontotemporal Degeneration (FTD), the most common form of dementia for people under 60. Due to the quick acting and debilitating disease, Gary was forced to retire early as a realtor.

Working full time as a vice president for a company and taking Gary’s former real estate business, Nanci is committed and hardworking (a Superwoman), both for her family and for our team. Needless to say, Gary’s diagnosis and progressive form of dementia was a shock to the family and has altered their lives radically. Nanci,…
