Every Spring, the Berg Larsen Group works with an organization that is close to a team member and helps raise awareness and proceeds for them. This April and May, we will be donating $100 to Youth Frontiers with every new listing we put on the Twin Cities real estate market. Our team member, Kate Wall, was introduced to the organization four years ago from a client, Patty Beadle, board and staff member for Youth Frontiers. Having first been invited to an ethical leadership luncheon, Kate loved what she learned about the organization and was soon invited to be on the organizing committee for the ethical leadership lunch, an annual fundraiser.
"Youth Frontiers’ Mission is to provide schools with experiences that inspire character, civility, and community. We offer one-day retreats focused on timeless values like kindness, courage, and respect. Youth Frontiers also offers educator retreats to help schools support their educators and create cohesive teams all focused in a common direction: their students."
I love the message that Youth Frontiers gives to the young students, that “you matter”, kindness, courage, and integrity. It provides great retreats to elementary, middle and high school kids, with inspiring messages. The retreats are age-appropriate and fun for the kids, they really respond! With everything that is going on in the world today, kids need to hear positive messages and know that they matter. Everyone needs to be kind to one another! Youth Frontiers builds a better future for our communities by teaching kids to be tomorrow’s leaders by building character today. With regular retreats and leadership conferences for students on Kindness, Courage, Respect, Leadership, and Wisdom, they offer a positive impact on students and their schools.
